How to wire Nest thermostat with preexisting system that contains jumper connecting RC and RH?

Hello,

I’m interested in purchasing a Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen, but was wondering if our wiring supports it, and  more specifically, how will I wire it? I believe it is compatible according to the compatibility checker, but I guess I don’t understand how the RC and RH connected by the jumpers work. How would I wire a Nest Thermostat with my current wiring? I have included a picture below. Thank you for your time!
Note: Yellow wire does not originate from wall, if that’s importantNote: Yellow wire does not originate from wall, if that’s important

You won't need a jumper.. you can connect to either Rh or Rc on the nest. It will make the jump internally

Hi Edward,

Thanks for checking in! Sorry I didn’t respond sooner, been away. But yes, I ended up purchasing the new Google Nest thermostat instead of the Learning thermostat. It wired up nicely, followed the in app instructions and was very relieved at how easy it was to install. Had a bit of trouble connecting it to WiFi and adding it to our Google home app, but reset it and got it on the second try. It has been working very well, and even got to check out the remote functions while being away the past week. So far, I’m pleased with it.

Thanks again for checking in!
