I am trying to wire a Nest E to a 7 wire heat pump system. I currently have a R (red wire), O (orange wire), Y (yellow Wire, G (green wire), B (blue Wire), W1 (White Wire), and a X1 (black wire). I also have a brown wire that is not in use. I am trying to wire a Nest E to this system but only have 6 spaces for wires and noted that there is an O/B space on the nest. Do the orange and the blue wire go into the O/B space and if so will I still receive all functionality that they system provides under the current thermostat? Is there a wiring diagram that would assist me in this project?
