I am having issues w/nest thermostat, I can't connect it to the wifi and the AC is running non stop

I really need help, I had a power outage because of a storm.  I lost internet for four days and ever since my AC is running, I am not able to regulate the thermostat, nor connect it to the internet.  I am frustrated as there is no a number to call or anywhere for me to find help.  Please let me know what to do, I am concern my electricity bill is going to come through the roof.

My sincere apologies for the delay in response, and sorry to hear about your thermostat issues! Having a freezing house is no good. Let's see what's going on here.
 
I need a couple of details before we can get started.
  • Are you receiving a specific error code on your display regarding connecting to WiFi? 
  • Did your device recently update its software to the latest version (6.1.1-2)? 
  • Which troubleshooting steps have you tried out already?
