I lost my Nest username and password. How can I recover them?

I have my Nest Thermostat a year ago. I setup and use iOS Nest app to control it frequently. Over a year, it is working fine. Last week, Nest app request me to Sign in with Nest, but I totally forgot the original setup email and password in the Nest account.  I already tried all my email accounts as Nest sign in, but none of them receive an email for recovering password. How can I reset or recover them? Please help.

Worse yet, I never had a Nest login.  Nevertheless, the app assumes I did. I login with gmail fine, but without a Nest account to migrate, there is no option to proceed.

Same with me. the app does not seem to offer the option to login with google

I cannot believe this. We cannot login. Nest has no proper support. You click on the support links, selecting all the options that best describe that you can’t login and it sends you to this page which just tells you that other people have the same problem and there is no solution

I'm with the others.  This is just pissing me off.  Support is non existent.  I need to talk to someone!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am having the exact same problem and NEST won’t send me an email to reset password. When I tried to add it as new.  ( which I don’t have a QR Code. Since I’ve also had mine over a year and a  half ago.  And when I look on the T’stat for the Nest App installation Code. It tells me “This thermostat is already connected to an account.”  HELP!!   Can’t find the solution anywhere and I see others have the same problem. 
I’m thinking we need to blow this issue up with the media that NEST WILL NOT HELP nor provide us with a Support PHONE NUMBER where you talk with a LIVE PERSON that can walk you thru it. I am DISABLED, and these FAQ type help is F-ed Up. NEST It does not work.  Takes weeks or months to get a reply back.  With answers that does not even address the problem.   Please help people!!!!

NOPE!!   They have yet to respond.  Let me rephrase that…… THEY DON’T WANT or CARE TO RESPOND.  They got their money when we bought their piece of crap. That’s all NEST seems to care about.  They obviously do not care to clear up their name/ reputation. 

Good Luck. Please let us know if you get a respond. I will update here if I ever get a reply on how to resolve this issue. 

I had the same issue.  Finally went into Nest T’stat and deleted account and then was able to go back in and get the pin they ask for when setting back up.

I have sort of the same issue with my nest protect firealarm device. Unable to add to google home app. Because when adding the nest device it requires me to login. But I don't have a login, I used the google login.

I got you all! Just reset the account on the thermostat. Then get the thermostat code and re login in. BOOM fixed!
