I've downloaded temperature data - now what?

Gizmosdaddy

I've got the data downloaded, and using Notepad++ to open it. What format is the time stamp in? It makes no sense to me. I'm assuming temperature is in Celsius? Does anyone know of a way to get this to a spreadsheet format?

Thanks!

Hi Gizmosdaddy,

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

Could you tell us in what format was the data being downloaded in your Notepad? You could try using Google Takeout and then select Nest and follow the instructions provided depending on the product you'll select.

Let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

Ryan

I used Takeout to download the data for the thermostats. All of the files were in JSON format, so I used a JSON to CSV converter, and put them in a spreadsheet.  The timestamp interval doesn't make any sense to me, so I don't know what time / day the data is from.  Also, the temperature data seems to be in C, is that correct? The specific file I converted is labelled temperature trait, and shows four values, labelled "value/samples/0/temperature, value/samples/1/temperature, etc" Are the four readings from different sensors? Any other info would be very helpful.  Thanks!
