Is there a webpage providing details for the .csv file that I receive when I download my Nest Thermostat history data. I have been looking for multiple days for a simple listing of what this information contains. All of the help and community links have not been helpful. I cannot believe Google hides this critical information so well.

Hello - having the same issue. I chatted with a Google/Nest representitive only to recieve a nonsensical answer. If you crack the code, please let us know. We'll do the same. Good luck.

Hello folks,
Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry.
Please check out the Google Takeout site; it might help. Make sure to login to the same email associated with your Nest Thermostat. Let me know if that helps.
Best,
Mark

Hi All - thanks so much for your interest.
But I have used the Google Takeout site. This is where the downloaded data comes from. The question is, what does the data represent? There is not an explanation given in the data files. I imagine the names used for the various data fields make sense to someone very familiar with the technology and given the data values themselves, the data units could be implied.
I am looking for a file that essentially holds the same data displayed on the app under the History icon for each thermostat in our house: Heat ON time for each day.
Please let us know If there is something specific we should look for on Google Takeout.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks again.
Peter
