AC company came out. A short because how dry wall was installed. Screw from Nest hit the wire. Fuse also needed to be replaced.

You have a heat pump system and not a conventional system.
Use the lower Heat Pump labels and just match the label to the Nests label. You don't need any of the jumpers, so don't install them.

It now says no power. Google support said to get a tester ro test the voltage. Off to Home Depot

Check the fuse on the control board in the furnace/air handler and see if it has blown. Most fuses look like an automotive fuses.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Google Nest Community.
I'd like to jump in here and check how it's going with your Nest Thermostat. It's also great to hear that you and your AC technician has figured out what seems to be the main problem.
Let us know how it goes by replying to this thread and we'll be glad to assist you.
Thanks for your help here, Patrick_Caezza.
Regards,

Wire was shorted from the bottom where the nest screw went in. Liquid tape fixed it!
