Installing second thermostat to existing nest system

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows how to add another nest thermostat to an existing one zone system. We need one to control the heating in a self contained annex connected to our houses heating sustem. I understand you need two heatlinks but can you just wire them in parallel so that both thermostats control the heating and hot water? Thanks

Hi Steviek,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that you need to know if you can use two thermostats on one zone system. I'm happy to assist you! I apologize, but you need to use two heat links. I do not recommend putting the wires in parallel because this could cause a short circuit.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards,

Manuel

Thanks for responding Manuel. Could you tell me how to wire the two heat links please.

regards

I look forward to your response.

Hi Steviek,

Thank you for sending the picture. I understand this isn't the news you were hoping for, and I sincerely apologize, but unfortunately, your HVAC system is not compatible with Google Nest thermostat devices.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards,

Manuel

Hi Manuel. Are you saying it is not compatible with using two thermostats? It is already working with one.

Regards
