I have a conventional heating/cooling system (forced hot air). I'm trying to install the Google Nest Thermostat, but my current Honeywell thermostat has a K-wire. After some calls with Google I'm unable to get a solid answer. Bottom line, I'm trying to see if my system can use the Nest Thermostat and if so, where I should place the K-wire? I've heard it should go in the Nest Y slot, but I'm not 100% certain. Does anyone know where the K-wire should go and how confident are you in your answer?
Thank you for your help!
