Why is the login failing with the newest iOS Nest app? Credentials are working perfectly fine via a browser on my phone. Work fine via browser on MBP. iOS app is broken. I have not and will not migrate from Nest credentials to Google, as I have first generation equipment (thermostats, cameras & smoke detectors).

So, perhaps I fixed this myself. When I first encountered issues yesterday, I deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled. Things seemed to work, but then failure again. I also went through the process of turning on 2FA. That also failed. Just now, I turned off 2FA, deleted the app, rebooted the phone, reinstalled the app. Now it appears to be working. Thanks to myself.

Hi @ducfan,
Thanks for your post in the community! I'm sorry to hear you've been having trouble signing into the Nest app on your iPhone, especially when your credentials work fine in a browser. It's great that you found a workaround! I'd be happy to share some information with you!
I noticed you mentioned you haven't migrated your devices from Nest to Google credentials. While I understand you prefer using the Nest app, you can use your first-generation devices like thermostats, cameras, and smoke detectors within the Google Home app as well. The Nest app primarily handles general device management, such as setup processes and changing settings for cameras or thermostats.
I understand if you prefer not to migrate at this time, so please just keep it in mind as an option. Migrating your account won't negatively affect your devices or equipment.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Best regards,
Debora
