Question, what is the exact difference between the GAS setting and LP (Propane). Trying to get the fan to come on with the call for heat, I can set it to do that under the GAS setting but not the LP. Using LP now, will setting to GAS create a problem?

@Sparkyman , the LP systems produce less BTUs of heat than natural gas. The Nest uses this data to make initial calculations for heating performance. It will learn over time so feel free to set it to Gas so you can control the blower fan.
You should also understand that most furnaces have an integrated furnace control board that controls the blower fan. It has temperature sensors that wait until the heat exchanger box gets to the proper temperature before turning on the blower fan. This is done to prevent the “cold” air from circulating at the beginning.

Thanks I was not sure why the fan did not come on so I shut it off just move from Florida so gas ran to an air conditioner was mind blowing

@Sparkyman , when it comes to Air Conditioning, the thermostat always activates the the blower fan during a call for Cooling. This is why there is no option to manually activate it like when using natural gas. Some air conditioning equipment are, shall we say all-in-one. The unit would be called a packaged unit. These packaged units are available as heat pumps, AC only, or Gas/Electric. I personally have a gas/electric packaged unit on my home.
So @Sparkyman , you have any more questions I can help you with?
