Moved into a house with Nest thermostat and don’t know how to do anything!

Hi everyone

Ive just moved into a house and the previous owner had NEST linked to what looks like the combo boiler and a thermostat.

I have no idea what it is, all I do know is it’s Linked to an old WiFi from the previous owner. Is there a way of changing it? Or re-registering it to our new WiFi what would I need to do?

please help. As without knowing I won’t know how to control our heating etc,

thanks

Here's a beginner's guide for Nest thermostats:

You will need to make sure the previous owner or resident has removed the device from their Google account in the Google Home app and has performed a factory reset, per these instructions:

https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/11151047?hl=en#zippy=%2Cnest-thermostat-nest-doorbell-b...

Then use these instructions to install the thermostat in the Google Nest app or the Google Home as appropriate:
