My Google temperature sensor for the learning nest thermostat all of a sudden stopped responding whe

When I took these things out of the box and set them up, all was well. I could say Alexa what does the thermostat say. Then recently.
Alexa started answering me. It doesn’t look like your device supports that yet. I removed the sensor and added it again and it still gives me the error message. How can I get Alexa to tell me what the temperature is in the room? When I say Alexa, what is the living room temperature? It says living room doesn’t support that

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with the connection of your Nest Sensor to your Amazon Alexa. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

• Could you still control your Nest Thermostat using voice command?
• Could Alexa still answer the current temperature if the Nest Sensor isn't paired?

I don’t think I have tried to control the nest with my voice, Not sure.

When I say Alexa, what does the thermostat say? or alexa what is the inside tempurature I get an error message something like your device doesn’t do that yet.

a while back I was able to say Alexa what does teh thermostat say and it would tell me. I replaced the battery  in the sensor and it didnt help.
