Thermostat does not detect my WiFi network. I have tried all of the suggested resets, I have tried to type in my network, I have even separated out my WiFi bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz). Nothing has worked. I’m not sure what the next steps are, but would love to be able to control my thermostat from my phone while on vacation.

Do not separate your Wi-Fi bands. Up-to-date Wi-Fi uses a dual band system We have the same name and password. Separating them by changing the name for example does not allow you to use the dual-band system used in WiFi “meshes”.

Do you have a mesh?

Do you have a gateway modem? Do you use AT&T as your home internet provider?

Who recommended you to separate your bands?
