My Nest thermostat is blinking green with a black screen. I have tried all troubleshooting posts

This was working just fine until a couple of hours ago.

I have removed the Nest Learning Thermostat device and reattached, charged the device for over 30 minutes, pressed for 10 seconds to restart. All wires checked and are properly inserted in the correct configuration.

I actually have 2 and wires are same on the other one. Nothing works and still black screen with blinking green light which ends after a few minutes.  I see the temp and it shows connected to my wifi and then poof it goes dark and non-responsive.

Please help!

You are saying for a brief time the display comes on, and then goes off, correct? Anything working via the app?

Green light usually indicates a good battery, so I would rule that out. You can really make sure by plugging the USB in the back and charge for 90 mins. After that, squeeze the display like a hamburger until the house comes back on, do that twice. When you have the display on the back plate can you hear a buzzing?

I posted below that I have no clue what actually ended up working in the end after countless attempts of all suggestions.  I do hear a buzzing from the thermo on the wall.  Is that normal?

I have the same problem. I have tried charging for the last few days and the thermostat doesn't stay on. Vivent (alarm system company we got this from) was useless in trying to help me. I need to contact nest but finding it hard to find customer service. My house is getting colder by the hour and I need to get this fixed ASAP. Can I just replace the thermostat with something you can get at home depot?

I would use this number in the UK 0808 169 2307

USA is different, but does this work 855  888-8209

My thermostat came back on that day. Not sure how but it’s been working ever since

I have no clue what "worked" but as of it's back online and seems to be working fine.  Multiple times on USB and a few resets is all I did.

Had to reconnect to network and remove/replace in Google app but good to go so far.  I can't explain how or what was done to make this happen.
