I have reset. Troubleshooted,  restarted router  and nest thermstat, and did put a USB connection on for a 1/2 hour to reconnect my nest to wifi. Nothing is working. Nest can't  fine network.

The Nest Learning Thermostat Wi-Fi connections is 802.11b/g/n @ 2.4GHz, 5GHz.  If your network has the option of 2.4 and 5 GHz I would recommend to use the 2.4 because it has a longer range.

@Cutwiz1

When you go to Settings > Network, does it see any networks?

Look at the voltage reading on Settings > Technical Info > Power. The battery level should be 3.8V or higher. If it isn't and you don't have a C wire installed, the thermostat will shut the wifi off. You can try plugging into a USB overnight to charge

I have same issue battery is 3.81v.  I tried restart, reset to default setting and doesn't help either.  I also reset my router too.

Hello there,

I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Thanks for your help here, @CoolingWizard and @Patrick_Caezza.

@Cutwiz1 and @Samliu, in addition to what was asked above, are you getting any reports in the network settings? If so, what's the message code? Also, going over these steps might help:

  1. Go to your thermostat's Reset Settings > Account Connection > Reset to confirm.
  2. Enable your mobile phone's cellular hotspot.
  3. Go back to the thermostat's network settings and try searching for networks that are available.

Please keep us posted on how it goes.

Regards,
Mark

Hi Janet,

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear about your thermostat's limited warranty period. Can you share with me the support ID you have from your previous contact? This is to ensure that everything is covered. Also, on your thermostat's network settings, are you getting any message codes or reports?

Please keep me posted.

Regards,
Mark
