Hi,
Trying to configure the below wiring setup for our Nest thermostat. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi Tdascenzo, yes the Nest will work just fine. However, base on the steps needed you may need some to install it who knows what they are doing. Base on your current wiring it seems as if you have a heat pump. If your are willing to do it yourself then replace your thermostat with the nest by doing wire for wire. Example red from R on your thermostat goes to R on the Nest, Green from G goes to G on Nest and so on. Please remember Blue wire from your thermostat looks to be the common (please confirm) which would go to Con the Nest. After doing the above, the next step is to setup some changes in the nest to tell it when not to operate the heat pump (meaning, below a certain temp) and to use the backup heat instead. (furnace or electric element). Nest needs to know you have dual fuel in settings. Hope this helps.

It looks like you have a B and an O wire which is not compatible with any of the Nest thermostats. You can verify it by looking at the terminal block on the control board in the air handler

Hey folks,
Thanks for taking the time to answer to this, Patrick_Caezza.
tdascenzo, your system may require local pro assistance as you have both an O wire and a B wire. These wires control when your heat pump cools or heats your home. In some installations, the common wire may be disguised as a B wire. Check this out for more information: https://bit.ly/3nEpkMy
