Need help figuring out if my Nest Thermostat E is compatible

I don't see a way to attach a photo, so I'll describe the wire colors and the labels for the attached screws.

white: W/W1

yellow: Y/Y2

green: G

red: R

blue: C (on a separate block of screws)

brown: unattached

I think it's a gas furnace + conventional AC. Thanks in advance!

You can use the compatibility checker at https://nest.com/widget/thermostat-compatibility/ to determine what Nest thermostats would be compatible with your system.

Thanks! I tried that, but it doesn't handle my situation where a single terminal is labeled both W/W1, and another terminal is Y/Y2.

Personally, I would connect the W/W1 wire to the W1 terminal and the Y/Y2 wire to the Y1 terminal but I'm just another community member and not a HVAC expert.

Here is a link to the Nest Thermostat E pro installation guide, it may have some more information for you than the standard manual that was included with your thermostat.
