My 'old' thermostat only had 2 wires, red (connected to Rc) and white (connected to W). I reran a 3 wire line to use as a common, C connection. However, I'm not sure where to connect the C wire to the furnace. There isn't a C terminal on the control board. Is there somewhere I can tap into a common 24V wire? The boiler is a Weil-McClain Gold GV, series 4.

I also wanted to add that the new thermostat is a regular Nest thermostat, not the learning or E thermostat.

Hey there,
Sorry for the late reply. I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. If you are not seeing a C terminal on your HVAC system, I would recommend having an HVAC pro come out and take a look. Please let me know if you have any questions from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.
Best regards,
Jake
