Nest Cooling Thermostat- Cooling not showing

Hi,

I moved from a Honeywell thermostat and I forgot to take a picture of the wiring.

I have 4 wires:

Red- Placed in Rh

Green- Placed in G

Black - Placed in C

White- Placed in W1

Heating and fan works fine but the air-conditioner does not show on the thermostat. What could I have done wrong.

Oddly.. this just happened to me last week.. Instead of Black I have a blue one.. and that went into Y.  I'm also using the C-Adapter.. so this may not be helpful..

Hi there.

@sailorshinde, Thanks for posting here in Community, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. Please send us a photo of your furnace control board where the other end of your thermostat wires are connected. I'll look forward to your response.

@hmstanley, are you also getting no cooling mode showing up on the Nest Thermostat? If so, please let me know.

Best,

Zoe

Thanks. I realized I had an issue with the c wire. I got the nest c connector and now everything works well. I now have the same wiring as @hmstanley

Great!  Glad I could help.. when I first installed it, I did not use the blue wire as I thought I didn't need it.. but I definitely needed it.  Anyway, all works now!
