Nest E 159 error

Suddenly started getting a wiring error E159 no power to C wire.

I reinstalled the c wire but the error is not going away… any suggestions would help greatly.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. Let's sort this out.

Your thermostat detects a wire in the C terminal but can't complete a circuit. Do you have a Heat pump? The wire in the C terminal may be the changeover valve wire, or you may have a 2-wire changeover system.

Please share with us a photo of your thermostat's wiring and gather its power readouts in the Technical Info settings.
