Hey everyone.
The OEM battery finally died in one of my two-year old temperature sensor last week. I put a new Li battery in and it didn't auto-reconnect so I removed it from the Nest profile and tried to add it again as new. Nest won't even pick it up. Kinda weird. Anyone have suggestions? Other temp sensor works just tickey-boo - remove battery, put new one in, reconnects. Beaut. So, what gives with this one?

Hi Forkster,
I just wanted to touch base real fast and see if you managed to try things out with a new battery. If so, how are things going for you? If you haven't had a chance yet, just let us know when you do.
Thanks,
Jeff

@EdwardT - just following up on my issue with the Nest temperature sensor. Google Gmail tagged the responses as spam and I never saw them until today when I tried to clean out my spam folder (sigh). So I'm going to try your suggestion to see if it fixes the issue.

Ok - new battery (Energizer) and presto, picked up right away. (Sigh) off to leave a crappy review on Amazon. Appreciate the efforts on this everyone. 🙏🏼
