Nest Therm Gen 4 wiring with 2 options...which one?

Heat Pump with furnace and emergency Heat.

Went through install app and selected all wires including a W2 (no W1) wire. App then shows wiring solution but with a W1 wire not addressing W2 and E goes to *Star.

R, W2 Jumper, E, Y1, OB, G, C

Previous searching showed similar wiring situation and a community member Zoe replied with this wiring diagram which I think is correct and and different from the app diagram and I should disregard the app wiring solution.

Remove W2 jumper and E goes to W2.

 Any suggestions appreciated.

Yes, that is correct.

The jumper between W2 and E is not needed and the white wire should be terminated in W2/Aux
