Nest would work but you’re a missing a wire that would connect to C to power up nest all time. Otherwise you have to keep charging it from time to time. You can use the 4 wires only that you have & rewire system to get power but you would loose the ability to use the fan only function. Good luck.

Hi folks,

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'm sorry for the delay. It looks like you have a conventional system. It is compatible with the Nest Learning Thermostat or Nest Thermostat E. However, if you prefer to have the Nest Thermostat 2020, you might be needing to have a C wire of a Nest Power Connector.

Wiring guide:

  • W/W1 - White (Heating)
  • Y/Y1 - Yellow (Cooling)
  • G - Green (Fan)
  • R/RC/RH - Red (Power)

I appreciate the help, @HVAC.

Best,
