Trying to install a Nest E Thermostat. Question: Have an RH wire with jumper to RC on the old thermostat. Also have a W wire on the old thermostat. Do I disconnect the Jumper wire (as mentioned in the instructions) and just use the RH wire to connect to the R connection on the Nest E?
Also, does the W wire on the old thermostat connect to the W1 connection on the Nest E? Sounds to simple, but would appreciate advice on the proper connections.

First, does your thermostat control both heating and cooling? (Sounds like it does).
If it does control both, then Rc and Rh are the power supply input used for switching on cooling or heating (the 'c' in 'Rc' means for cooling and the 'h' in 'Rh' means for heating). The W (or W1) is what 'calls for heat'. The Y (or Y1) is what would call for cooling. Most combined heating/cooling systems use one transformer and thus the thermostat will merely use a jumper between Rh and Rc (since the power is coming from the same transformer). In the case of the Nest E, you do not need the jumper - remove it.
As for the W wire, yes that goes to the W1 terminal on the Nest E. Same for the Y wire - should go to the Y1.
If you only have heating, then it's pretty much the same except you won't have a Y wire to connect to Y1.

Thanks for the info, we finally got the Nest E Thermostat up and running. Problem is, I have a new problem. From my cell phone, out-of-state, it is not connected to the WiFi. Called the Electric Company, they tell me we have electric. Do you, hopefully, have an easy fix or suggestion as to how to reconnect the Nest E Thermostat to WiFi, I am 4 1/2 hrs away, a trip I don’t want to make if I can avoid it…Appreciate your thoughts…

Well, that's unfortunate! I've had that issue occur a couple of times as well and I've heard of others having the issue. Unfortunately, apart from maybe the Nest deciding to reboot on it's own, there is no way to recover from that remotely. I can say that of the 3 times it's happened to me, 2 times the Nest eventually recovered (after a day or two of being disconnected). Weird thing is when I finally was on-site, the Nest says it's connected to the WiFi but not the Nest Server. To me, there is clearly something wrong in the retry to connect to the Server logic. Hopefully Google will eventually figure this out and fix it, but I'm a little skeptical...
