We put in a new HVAC system in the spring of 2019. Our guy asked if we wanted to go the Nest route and we did. This thing has been a pain ever since he installed it. I’ve called a few times only to get nowhere. Troubleshooting was a waste. The thermostat wouldn’t stay connected to the internet and eventually stopped connecting at all. Now it won’t hold a charge. Walking into a freezing house only to find that the thermostat is dead. I’m fairly certain the warranty is up, but this is complete bs. We have a shiny, useless hole in our expensively wallpapered wall. Is my only option to put out another $250 for something that never worked?! So frustrated right now.
