Just over 2 years of having my Nest Thermostat, it stopped connecting to the WiFi. Everything else is connected to the WiFi, even the Nest Doorbell. After trying all the troubleshooting with no success , I contacted Google through chat. After listening to the person keep trying to blame my router, he had me reset everything to factory settings. It still wouldn’t connect to my router or my hotspot. They the said, you are past the 2 year warranty (by a couple months), so you will need to buy a new thermostat from our online store.
How can a thermostat stat costs hundreds of dollars only work for 2 years? Does Google even stand by their products? Please let me know if this has happened to anyone else and if there is a fix. I refuse to purchase another Nest product if it only lasts a couple years. Thanks

Unfortunately, that does nothing for me.
