Nest Thermostat Won't Connect to Alexa

Hi! I have Nest Thermostat (which is different from Nest Thermostat E and Nest Learning Thermostat).

I'm unable to connect with Alexa. In order to connect with Alexa, I would need to add the device to the Nest app first but there's no option to add Nest Thermostat to the Nest app, you can only add Nest Thermostat E or Nest Learning Thermostat to the Nest app.

Does anyone know how to connect Nest Thermostat to Alexa?

Enabling the Google Nest skill for Amazon Alexa needs to be done via the Alexa app or the Amzon website. Please follow the step by step guide below:

1. Confirm that your Nest Account has been migrated to a Google Account.
2. If needed, follow the steps to migrate your Nest Account to a Google Account.
   Note: Certain Google Accounts can't be used for migration, including Google Workspace accounts.
3. Use the Alexa app or the Amazon website to find and enable the Google Nest skill for Amazon Alexa.
