Nest Thermostat & LG Heat Pump System

I have a fairly new LG Heat Pump system. The existing LG Tstat only has Yellow (signal), Red (12v), & Black (ground).

Is the Nest compatible & where does the ground get connected to (G slot?)?

Thanks for reaching out. It looks like the wiring of your current thermostat is proprietary. I'd love to know more about this. Could you share a photo of the control board of your heat pump system?
