Nest Thermostat and Google Home

I appreciate there have been earlier posts on this issue but the advice hasn’t fixed it. Nest and Google Home are forever telling me that I’m away when I’m home and that my phone is “not here” even though it is. I’ve set Location Services in both cases to “Always” and everything else that I can do to ensure a connection but, even when I set Nest to Home it changes back to Away.

It can be challenging when the Nest app and the Google Home app misinterpret your location. Have you tried checking for any updates on both apps? Additionally, restarting them or reinstalling the respective apps and verifying that your phone's operating system is up-to-date might help. Also, ensure that both the Nest and Google Home apps have the necessary permissions on your phone.

Thanks Mark. Deleting and reinstalling the Nest app seems to have sorted it!
