Nest Thermostat doing its own thing!

I set the thermostat to 71° and several times a day it turns itself to 74°! How do I stop it from doing this? Thank you

Hello @DeborahEdwards,

Thanks for reaching out. When you manually adjust the temperature, the temperature will stick until the next scheduled temperature change. You will need to set your temperature schedule instead of manually adjusting it all the time. Here's a guide to help you do that.

Hope that helps! 🙂

Hello folks,

I'm chiming in to see how I can help.

Thanks for the help, @listairee.

@DeborahEdwards, I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your thermostat not holding its temperature. If you have the Nest Learning Thermostat or the Nest Thermostat E, disable the auto-schedule temperature to avoid random temperature changes, and for the Nest Thermostat 2020 model, clearing all the schedules might help.

Please let me know if that helps or if the issue still persists.

Regards,

Mark

Thanks for the help! I did what you suggested and it's working perfectly!!  Thank you again 🙏
