Nest Thermostat not firing the boiler

JonB2

I've got a Nest Learning thermostat - we've been away for a couple of days so that thermostat temperature was set low whilst we were away. We've now come home and turned the thermostat up however it isn't firing up the boiler. The app is telling me that it's heating, however nothing's happening with the heat link or the boiler at all. Is there anything anyone can suggest?

Do you have any lights on the Heat link?

No lights, first check the obvious ie fuses, switches are on etc. When confirmed you have power to the Heat Link, chances are the heat link has failed.

Should you have lights on the Heat Link, press the Heat Link button and listen for any clicks, if you do, then the next stage will be to test the Heat Link connections.
