I have a Trane Thermostat and it has 7 wires. R, W2, W1, Y&Y1, G,O and B my nest has only 6 terminals???
Is it compatible and if so, how do I wire it.

Depends on which nest you have, although I’ve never wired this brand without a common wire on the t-stat I’ve read where it’s the basic model that needs the c-wire. If your nest has a rc terminal then u can eliminate the common and your good 👍

i believe so. It is called emergency heat on my unit. everything I read online last night indicated it was a two stage.
