Can anyone advise if this Oil Boiler Timer Switch is suitable for replacement with a Nest Thermostat? (Based on the existing wiring…) Thanks!

Hi EOKA,
Thanks for reaching out. The wiring of your current thermostat is a bit unusual. Could you share the make and model of this thermostat so we could investigate further?
Thanks,
Edward

Hi EOKA,
Thanks for sharing a photo of your Heating Timer Switch. Another question, where are you located? Also, what type of heating system do you have?
Thanks,
Edward

The house is located in Ireland (Co. Waterford).
The Heating System is a oil boiler system (from circa, the mid 1980's). Very simple overall : All the radiators are on the 1 zone.
