Nest account will not stay logged in

The Nest app on my phone has, up until recently, worked fine. I used to log in and it stayed logged in. Now, whenever I open the app, I have to sign out and sign back in again using my Google details. This works fine, but the following day, I have to do exactly the same thing again. How do I get the Google login to stay logged in?

I assume you have removed and reinstalled the App, and given that a go?

Many thanks for this. I have tried once, but my phone is currently updating. I'll try again and report back.

I've just restarted the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing as yet seems to have changed. I have to log in with Google, then use my old Nest login details to confirm the login. I assumed this would migrate the Nest account across to Google, but it doesn't seem to have happened. I get a code texted to me, which I enter and I'm logged in. I'll see what happens tomorrow.

Further to the above, if I log in with Google, I have exactly the same problem. However, if I log in with my original Nest account details, the account appears to stay logged in. Go figure.

I wouldn't migrate anyway, as you can use IFTTT with a NONE Google email, which is a usefull little applet. Once you migrate you will not be able to create a none Google email. Keep your old one, and if you have to use a Gmail, then use that as well.
