Nest app lost my thermostat

How do I get my thermostat to talk to my app?  This is the second time this month that my app comes up and has no thermostat.  Only thing I can do is add a thermostat.  I lose my history when I reset everything and add the thermostat to the app.  Thermostat says it’s connected to a device.  It may be, but certainly not my device.

Could you tell us which Nest Thermostat are you using? Also, have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the Nest app? Are you using an Android or iOS phone?
