My Nest app has worked great on my iPhone for two years, and out of the blue, it no longer controls my thermostat. It shows I have a “Home”, but there are no temperatures showing except the outside air in my location. How do I get it to connect with my thermostat controls again?

Can you see your thermostat in the app, or is it not there anymore?
If it's otherwise working fine, just not visible in the app, here's how to fix it:
This should add the thermostat icon to the app in the new home. You can move other devices from your previous home to the new one by following the same steps above. The only thing you can't do that with is Google Wifi or Nest WIfi, which would need to be reset and setup again in the new home.

We’ll, I finally got it! I couldn’t seem to get it through the Google Home app, so I deleted it and went back to fighting with the Nest and the Nest app. I ended up resetting the Nest itself and re-connecting to WiFi. Then I created and connected a new “home” in the app itself. What a pain! But I won in the end!
