Nest compatibility

The compatibility checker said Nest would work, so I bought one. Now, when I enter the exact same wiring during the setup, it says it’s incompatible.  There’s a jumper between Rc and R.

It was connected. Since it was jumpered to To the R terminal, I just connected the R to R and didn’t connect the orange at all. Connected everything else like you mentioned. Thanks for the reply! Working fine with A/C. I’ll find out in Nov how it does with the heat.

Is the orange wire in the Rc terminal or the O terminal?

Is the orange wire even connected?

If it is connected to the O terminal then try this wiring.

Brown - W - to W (set as AUX heat)

Yellow - Y to Y

Green - G to G

Orange - O to */OB

Red - R to r (jumper to Rc not needed)

Blue - C to C

When the Google Home App asks what wires do you have, select these wires

W/W1, Y/Y1, G/G1, O, R, and C
