Nest cooling past set temperature

shovelg

Recently I have been noticing the nest over cooling the house. For example I will set the temperature to 74 in the house. When I look at the temperature after it's been cooling for some time I notice the temperature is at 73 and the AC is still running. It typically runs for another 15 minutes after passing 73. Has anyone else noticed this and found a way to stop cooling at the desired temperature

This is normal behavior, thermostats will cool below the set temp, otherwise it would switch on and off constantly trying to maintain the desired temp. Most tstats will cool it to one degree below the set temp and wait until its one degree over the set temp to trigger it.
