Nest has been working fine for 3-4 years. Randomly, without loss of power in house, Nest stopped powering up and showed error. Now is saying “Please attach the display to the base”. Cannot connect on application either. Tried resetting device by holding down button for 10 seconds.
I wanted to follow up and ensure you are good to go. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble, or seeing any error codes.

Thanks Jake! Had an AC specialist out who said it was the Nest E device. Did a program reset command script and they said the device was done. Was happy they have a replacement program, and were able to send into google. Now back online a week later.
