Everything worked fine for 5weeks. Heat link next to boiler and thermostat in family room. Yesterday thermostat lost connection to heat link. Heat link with fixed green led show that it is connected. Upon wired connection immediately wireless connection is established. After wired connection is disconnected after few minutes thermostat disconnect wireless connection. Anybody had similar situation?

Let me get this right, are you saying the wired connection is fine?

When you dissconnect the wired connection you loose wireless?

Shouldn't matter whichever connection you have wireless or wired, the heat link will work on it's own.

Hey @Datar,

I'm sorry to hear about your issue, but I'm here to help. Please answer the following questions so we can isolate the issue:

  1. What type of Nest thermostat do you have?

  2. Do you have any error message on the display when it disconnects?
  3. What troubleshooting steps have you done before reaching out to us?
  4. When was the thermostat installed?
  5. When the unit was installed, did the display communicate with your Heat Link? If yes, how long after the installation did the issue occur?
  6. What order did the installer set up the device?
  7. Have you had any recent power cuts in your area? If yes, has the error persisted since this power cut?
  8. Has there been any recent work on the HVAC system?
  9. Was the Nest thermostat moved during maintenance to a new location?
  10. What is the distance between the Heat Link and Nest thermostat? Are the Heat Link and display on the same floor?
