Nest heat link

My heat link won't connect to my thermostat. I've factory reset and unlinked them from my account, tried to reconnect and the issue has still not been resolved

Are you saying you get so far when trying to setup, but get to a screen saying H71 or something, and a list of options, one being Replace Heat link?

Are the connections wireless or wired to the display/heat link?

Can you confirm the Display and the Heat Link were a matched pair?
