I have a Nest thermostat that won’t connect to WiFi with a W5 issue and doesn’t seem to hold a battery charge as when plugged in just keeps saying it needs to shutdown due to low battery… help!

I got a 3rd gen and and the display it has a micro usb at the back for charging, I plugged it it to charged it up, my furnace I has a 5 wire setup 2 wires are for charging the thermostat and the other 3 wires for fan, cool and heat! Make sure you connect all the wires properly also you can add an external power supply to the thermostat, also my router has 2 wifi a 5g and a 2.4 ghz try to connect to one or other, 2.4 might be better has a better range but it could also have lots of interference if there are to manny routers nearby
instruction in the video for power supply instal
