Nest learning thermostat not though power for wifi

Worked flawlessly for a year but now, multiple times per day, it goes offline complaining about power. When I check back later it’s online again but off again a day later.

Thanks Brad and Ryan. I ran a C wire to get it enough power and it seems fine now. I guess the battery had aged enough that it had trouble staying charged with the lower power from the Rc wire! Anyway…all good now.

Hi there,

I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I'm terribly sorry to hear that you're having these troubles. I understand how upsetting this could be, but I'm happy to assist you with this obstacle. I'd suggest that you first Restart the thermostat, as this could reset the connection issue you are having and hopefully will keep that from happening again.

Best Regards,
Brad
