Nest - none learning thermostat

I have 2 current thermostats on one a/c units 5 wires. Y1, G, R, C and W/0/b(combined). I thermostat for each floor. Again both run to same AC unit. Hooked up the 2 nest thermostats and all works good.

I have a 2nd a/c unit in a mother in law site above garage. It has the EXACT same wiring and was using the same model thermostatas the 2 in the house. I hooked it up exactly the same as the 2 in the house and it keeps telling me NO WIRES connect after I turn power back on.

please help

@Hazmathome
If the Nest Thermostat is saying there are no wires attached, the backplate is not registering the wires that are inserted.   This is likely a defective backplate.   Can you use the Nest App, go to Technical Information and see if the thermostat sees the backplate and reports the serial number and firmware  version.
