Nest summer rewards

If I participate in summer rewards and I’ve already got my AC set to a pretty warm temperature in order to save energy and money, will the program still push me up to 4 degrees higher?  Is there a limit to how high the program can push your temperature up. If I’m already at 76 for example, can the nest get automatically pushed to 80?  Mean while someone who is set at 65 is pushed to relative comfort at 69?

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

If you enroll your thermostat to Rush Hour reward (Nest Summer Rewards program), your Nest Thermostat will automatically adjust your temperature to your liking, but if you feel uncomfortable, you could manually change the temperature from the thermostat, anytime you want to.
