Nest thermostat E online with Google home but offline with Nest app

I’ve just migrated my nest account to Google. Everything seemed to work properly. For the first day I was able to use the nest app on iPhone, android and on my computer. Then installed Google home in order to have all phones useable for home/away assist and to connect to Alexa. Now when going into the nest app I get an offline message but in Google home I can control the thermostat, although google home functionality is more limited than the nest app. 

I’ve tried everything in the troubleshooting list for when the app says the thermostat is offline but nothing works. 

It’s actually offline only for the nest app but not for Google home.

In the migration to Google I had a non-Google email migrate to a Google email.

Linking Alexa to the thermostat also failed even though it originally saw the thermostat, which I think means that for Alexa it was also offline

Any ideas?

I have the same problem.  I migrated my Nest houses and devices to Google Home and about a day later, the Nest app shows my thermostat is Offline, but it works just fine and doesn’t appear offline to Google Home.  I added a new Google Nest Outdoor Camera after the migration to Google Home.  Not sure if that might have something to do with this problem.

Just checked what was going on with my Nest thermostat and now it is back online with no issues.  Everything works as it did before.  No idea what changed, but I’ll take the end result.

I have the same problem. 2 days offline in Nest app but it shows up in Google Home app. Happened immediately after Nest account to Google account migration.
