Nest thermostat app screen stuck on add product

Just woke up and tried to use app to adjust temp and instead of showing temperature button, it shows add product. Model t3017us. It’s a learning thermostat we purchased in 2023. It says we’re connected to Wi-Fi but I have no phone controls.

Hi Ipatty, 

 

Yikes! Have you checked if you are in the correct account? Yes, did you check if you are in the right home structure? If you're also in the right home structure and you can't really find the thermostat, check on your thermostat's Settings > Nest app to see if the thermostat says connected on the app. If yes, log out of the Nest account on your phone, then select 'Continue with Google' to sign in again.

I haven’t changed a thing and after all these years, I don’t even know which account I used!  Thermostat says connected but still stuck on add product on my iPhone

Hi there, 

 

Thanks for getting back to us. I understand the frustration that you're in right now, but have you tried to log out of the Nest account on your phone, then select 'Continue with Google' to sign in again? If not, I recommend you check on it so we can tell if you can see your home structures after you signed in to the app using 'Continue with Google'.
