Noticed via the Nest app whilst on holiday that our Nest thermostat hadn't been connected for over 30 days. Now we're home I've tried every solution I can find but it's still not working. I've tried:
• Powering thermostat on and off
• Alternative USB power sources
• Restarting wifi
• Manually inputting wifi network data (said it couldn't connect)
• Factory reset and reconfiguring thermostat
...but I still get an error message on both the thermostat and the Nest app that the thermostat "couldn't connect to Wifi". I've tried the thermostat physically touching the router, the extension hubs, and also my iPhone when its personal hotspot was on. The thermostat cannot see any wifi networks.
This is seriously frustrating. I'd appreciate some help please! Thanks.

It sounds like you've already tried all these steps:
Nest thermostat is offline - Google Nest Help
If the thermostat doesn't show any Wi-Fi networks at all, not even a Wi-Fi hotspot, it's possible there may be a hardware issue. I'd recommend that you contact the Google Nest support team.

Thanks David, I've had an online chat with Google Nest Support and they're sending a replacement out 😊
