Nest thermostat does not work after software upgrade

Last night we had an automated nest thermostat upgrade , after which the thermostat does not connect to WiFi nor does there sppear to be power in the system . Can anyone help ?

You are saying no power in the system?

Assuming you have no sign of life on the display, have you tried a restart?

Actually I have the problem. When I make a nest temp command, I get “ACTUALLY, NEST DOESNT SUPPORT THAT FINCTIONALITY.” Never heard this until I updated the nest app. HELP!

I am having major difficulty with the android app staying connected with the thermostat.   The app connects for about 30 seconds then disconnects.  I am not able to change any settings on the thermostat from the phone app.  Please help.

Is there any easy way to get the code needed to reinstall nest learning thermostat? When I try to reinstall the message is it already is installed. It only works manually now…lost ability to use with cellphone after nest software update

I have same problem….you need to delete thermostat from google nest account then go through process to reinstall as new product…, Or hire hvac professional to do it right. $100 usual fee. Good luck
